Week 26: Eye see YOU!




Fetal development in pregnancy week 26:
"At long last, your little swimmer can see the womb! Your miracle’s little eyelids have finally separated (they were fused closed previously) and they’re probably having their first moments of sight as you read this (or maybe it already happened while you were brushing your teeth or watching Oprah or something).
In addition to seeing their little studio in your belly, they’ve recently acquired the ability to say “yes” and “no” in rudimentary sign language as they can now move their head back and forth.
This is also the time where your little super star’s head hair is starting to grow!
A cute little cowlick or two may be springing into position right now, getting ready for years of cute-but-stubborn bed-head. Also, their toenails have grown in and you little raisin continues to slowly pile up fat beneath their still-loose skin.
Most importantly, brain tissue and neurons are all developing at a rapid pace, increasing their (genius-level?) brain activity and will continue to function at accelerated levels for the first seven to eight years of childhood!"
yupz, our little precious is growing well...he now weighs 849g.
(an increase of 377g !! from 472g @ week 22)
was pretty active today..can see him kicking..& moving his hands...
always a relief to hear from Dr Adrian that bb is growing well..& doc also reminded me to rest more..cos i'll oni get heavier as time goes by (opppsss..) so must not over-exert & walk slowwllyy...

His little photo gallery...which we love to look at everyday...seeing him grow month-on-month..simply brings smile to me & dar after a loong day @ work..
with the good news that bb is growing well, we went to Jack's Place for a little 'celebration' (always a reason to celebrate...)

Some tots today :
pretty anxious & excited..just got to know that one of my colleagues had just given birth yest night..and she was supposed to be due in mid-august..what if the same happens to me ?? mmm..told dar that i better pack my hospital bag & wash bb stuff & etc asap..cos you never know....i'm really getting kinda nervous...opppsss...calm down...*breathe in* *breathe out*
