i love the show 溏心風暴 soo much that i even got my dad hooked on it..
love the story plot !
and not too long ago, my colleague told me that there's a PART 2 but the link he sent me din work too well..
just today, my dear friend, Cindy posted on facebook that she's hooked on the show : 溏心風暴之家好月圓 & i'm soo happy her link is soo much easier to follow...

2 more weeks...
& i will be ending my confinement..so how am i coping??
well well, i think i had been a pretty good gal ..keke
*only bath & wash my hair once a week (everyday can only wipe the body w the herbal water)..mmm..okok, got a confession..i went out once (asked the CL to take care of bb while i run some errands)..and in the end, went to the salon for a hair wash..
Shiok !! Felt soo refreshing..once home, immediately went to my room & tie up my hair..heee..
(i hope my mum dun read this manz!!)
but i guess..being in air-con room realli helps (confinement period cannot ON the fan but can ON air-con..) @ least i dun realli perspire (except during meal times) + since its the end of the year..the weather is pretty cooling..thus dun realli feel so 'pek-chek' !
*finish up everything that the CL cooks (yesh, that includes all the ginger & the gravy cooked with rice wine)..never eat any of the no-nos.. (though my aunt tried to tempt me w stingray, oyster egg..etc..naughty naughty..)
i guess having a CL realli allows me to rest rest rest...@ least she helps with the nite feeds & diaper change..& that realli allows me to have a good nite rest for about 6 hours.. (of cos by then, my breast will be soo engorged cos lazy me never wake up in the middle of the night to pump !!)
I love her cooking..YUMMY ! had claypot rice, fried rice, omelette w ginger etc..it's nice to have home-cooked food everyday c",)
But of cos..there is always a downside to everything..my mum & MIL are not exactly pleased with how my CL does certain things..of cos i know that it's cos they are overly-concerned & thus wan the best for me..which in turn translates to HIGH expectation for the CL..& when the expectation is not met..that's when Trouble begins..yesh..they will nag..& ask how i got this CL..blah blah..
But what can i do @ this point in time??
i can't ask her to leave..then who is gg to help me?
if my mum or my MIL help..can they do the 'night duty' ?
can i ask them to clear the table after me ?
or ask them to make milo for me before i sleep?
ask them to change the diaper while i continue watching TV?
all i can do now.. is to "REN".. cos in 2 weeks time, i will be left all alone with my lil precious..i'm praying hard that i'm able to cope just as well...

1st Post-Natal Massage
yippee..just had my 1st post-natal massage today !
was recommended by my aunt & i was pretty impressed with her..
* Aunty Maya came with her own massage bed (it weighs 15kg, i was realli impressed !!)
* She was burping while doing the massage (apparently, whilst massaging ,the wind from my body will 'enter' hers, causing her to burp..mmm..somethin new for me)
* i was pretty amazed with the 'water extraction' from my tummy (she massaged my tummy & there was lotsa water coming out from the pores..)
* i love it when she 'cracked' my neck..all the strain from breastfeeding & pumping had caused my neck & shoulders to stiffen..i was soo glad she managed to loosen the 'knots'
* the binding was a little uncomfortable initially (cos the cream is very 'hot') but she said the longer i can tahan, the better..(so for today, i was 'wrapped up' for 8 hours..hope my excess tummy fats will go off soon !!)
on a side note : My feet had shrunk back to their original size..no more PIG Trotters..wahhhh

Post-Delivery Check-up
Finally managed to get 'clearance' from my confinement lady(CL) that i can wash my hair (after 1 week!!!)
well, i'm gg to see my gynae & i dun wanna my modern gynae to frown on my oily scalp manz..heee...
~@ the clinic~
Doc did a tummy scan for me ...& for the very 1st time, i was not looking @ the monitor..dawned on me that i kinda missed having our lil precious inside me. The precious bonding between me & him only, feeling him moving/kicking/nudging..the anticipation of each gynae visit seem so far away now..words like 'bb is growing fine; head is still down' is something that i will not hear from the doc now..hee..i know it's such a silly feeling, but having him growing inside me for 40weeks was indeed an amazing experience !
feeling a lil emo..wahhh...
this time, Dr Adrain does not have any scan pic for me to bring back..
BUT,
we have a lil card to Thank him for all that he had done for us c",)
realli couldn't thank him enuff....

...E greatest JOY ....
other than our lil precious...i suddenly realised..THE GREATEST JOY that i am experiencing now is that....
(1) I can lie on my back
(2) I can lie on my front
(3) I can roll from 1 end of the bed to the other
...something which i was 'deprived' of doing for about 40 weeks...
Wahhhhh ~~~

a nurse passed by & kinda frowned when she saw me taking this pic...must be thinking.."gg to be in labour..still can smile till like tat..hahhaah" but i din know wat to expect ma..=p
after about 8 hours of labour + 4 hours of waiting...finally here's the place we called "HOME" for 2 nights !!

(i waited for 4 HOURS !! before i got my room..cos all the rooms were full & they needed to wait for the patients to check-out etc..thus i was in the 'waiting room' w 3 other mummies who are in labour..gosh..boy i was glad i've completed my LABOUR !!...see how tired i was when i finally got the room & my lunch...that's @ 2pm)

& how can i forget the daily supply of "Fish Soup w Green papaya"
~delicious & good for milk flow !!

: he said its YUMMY !!
& lastly, some cakes & tarts for the lovely angels @ TMC who have made our stay an enjoyable & pleasant one c",)

~The Birth Story~
finally, managed to find some time to update my birth story =)
3.00am : still 2cm dilated..but the contractions start to intensify..
was kinda in 'distressed' & asked for epi
5am : was abt 5cm dilated
(in between, poo-poo like 3x!! nurse said it was cos i was relaxed..thus kept
poo-pooing..mmm)
7am : fully dilated but bb still high up
8.05am : Dr Adrain came & told me to get ready to push..3x but no avail.. tried another 3x & finally BB Ashton cries was heard =0)
(playful boy had the umbillical cord round his neck twice !!)
finally, managed to find some time to update my birth story =)
7th Oct : Went for gynae appt..realised that i am 2cm dilated
Dr Adrain asked "r u all ready? so i see you @ TMC later..at 11pm"
Gosh, quickly went home shower & in about 2hours, Dar & I were @ TMC

11.30pm : Dr Adrain came & broke the water bag (not painful, jus felt a warm gush of water)
8th Oct
12.30am : felt contraction (tot it was still bearable, like menstral cramps..)
