(celebrated at this authentic Cantonese restaurant (美食之家).
Yummy food..too busy catching up that i forgot to take any pics..oppss..realised that we have all 'aged' cos no longer are we celebrating @ some hotel / buffet..simply jus enjoying each other's company together with the many senior diners @ the restaurant..reminiscing on our good old days..ohh nooo....)
am amazing 15 years of friendship..

An outing organised by the RC committe..to go CNY shopping...
and on board the bus...i realised i was literally the youngest...
mmm..i texted hubby "i'm in a bus full of aunties and uncles!!!"
then again...i've mummy & daddy with me..so @ least the whole trip is not too boring i hope...
1st stop - Buy BAK KWA !!
:you see the ppl jostling to try the sample..and as for dad & i, we decided to pop next door a nice warm "tau-huay"...=)

2nd stop - Buy FLOWERS!!
: lovely flowers beaming at you..and you will be very tempted to buy the one with the fullest bloom...then again, one of the aunties will remind Not to do soo....cos by CNY, all the flowers will wither...so off we go..to choose the pot which has the most flower buds....mmmmm.....hope that they will bloom in time =)


3rd Stop : Buy noodles , sauces & dried stuff
4th Stop : Buy MORE BAK KWA...
5th Stop : Buy MORE CNY goodies, "nien gao" etc etc..
by 3rd stop..i was sooo exhausted...the weather is soooo humid...and since i dun cook that much..all the dried stuff and so din interest me too much.. have to buy in bulk & store them...mmm..i'm just afraid that by the time i use them..they would have turned moudly..opppsss...
Here's what Mummy & i bought...!!! gosh!!!
(i.e. 2 pots of plants..and dun know how many bottles of sauces and how many packets of goodies)

Here's my purchases.... the highlight of the trip was when we visited the factory that produces this fantastic sauce called "Chilli King" + the yummy "Yee Mee".
I've tried & bought it a couple months back..but couldn't find it eversince (or rather..i have not cooked for quite a while..=p)
To me....this is the best sauce that you use to fry yummilicious noodles / rice..Sedap...i like =)

..& another highlight of the trip was when i saw an old couple holding hands, simple watching out for each other...i'm a sucker for this... i just melt....i wanna hold your hand till the end of time...mmmmm

Not a typical eye makeup kinda person....I was still pretty excited when i finally received the 3 frosty shades of gold, pink and brown eyeshadows ! (thks grace for ordering =))
Despite its inexpensive appearance, the eye shadow colors looks as pricy as jewels! When applied to the eyelids, it exhibits a sheen and draws alot of attention to the eye area!!! Wahhhhh!! Can't wait to master the ART of applying...

and can't wait to explore the Soo many many more pretty irresistable colors!

"Her Royal Cuteness"
that's the title of my latest scrapbooking class !!
pretty interesting..its a super funky blinged-out mini-album that's perfect for the queen/princesses !
We have to alter a Maya Road Crown album and incorporate lots and lots of shiny shimmering fun working with sequins, glitter glue and more - it's bling bling bling!
This is how the chipboard looks like...(simply a plain cardboard)

..and we have to paint one side of the chipboard & paste patterned paper on the other side..
really tedious cos have to trace the outline of the 'crown'; cut along the pencil line and finally paste it on the chipboard..ensuring that there's no bubbles.
Thereafter, to trim off the excess / use paint to touch-up if the paper is smaller than the chipboard.

Ta.ta..ta...Here's my 1st page !
Kinda 'thick-skinned' to place the title as "7 princesses" but i guess we are princesses in our league..each different in our own ways..and i love the little wand @ the left side of the crown..adding some 'magic' to all the gals...

ok, the 1 page is finally done..now i have 7 more pages to go..wish me luck & more inspiration to finish up my 1st "alter-art" project !
