or rather a day of exploration..we set off with a good pair of shoes..and off we go..to e hotspot for hip boutiques..@ Haji Lane.. feels like an undiscovered gem. .there isn't many shops..but each shop is a unique character on its own..a diff perspective of wat fashion is..interesting finds from all over the world..worth a place to explore..
@boutique/ice cream parlor -Pluck ~if you love funky/quirky/vintage pieces..it's worth checking out...
~since we around the area..head down to get some swiss rolls (the durian & kaya are yummy!) from the "Rich & Good Cake Shop"
and hey...tats where we walked down the aisle..its coming to a year..but this place still hold lotsa wonderful memories for us..
over to ART Friend to get some stuff.. rec a mini lecture on the diff markers for drawing..mmm
continued to walk towards Raffles City..gosh..x'mas decor are all around..gonna start writing my x'mas list..its the festive mood!!
Remembered reading an article on Sunday Times on the popularity of High Tea these days..and also the different recommendations..wanted to try out the one @ Kuriya (but the staff was so rude that we decided against it..perhaps next time..when there is a friendlier person to greet us..)
Dying to satisy my desire to have high tea, we headed to "Ah-Teng Bakery" @ Raffles Hotel to enjoy our Afternoon Tea in this colonial style hotel..which preserves the kopi-tiam style dining...warm scones and a cup of coffee..as we browse thru the day's papers..while resting our tired feet...mmmm....
On a Separate Note.......
back home..we emptied our bags..and starting to spray the clay figurine with this fixative
to "fix" the colours and also to add gloss. Next up, we added the crystal beads we got from Arab Street to line the gown... here's the final finished product.....Before ..............................After
