~Dinner @ e 60th Storey ~
yup.. dinner @ SiChuan Dou Hua @ 60th Storey UOB Building with the citi gals.. been a while since we last catch up.. it's always nice to catch up over dinner.. its true that food brings ppl 2gether ya ?? my 1st time there... was pretty amused with the long-sprout tea pot.. soo afraid that they will spill the tea on my phone.. but the "shifu" said " dun worry, we are very skillful one"... mmmm... opppsss... was it too obvious when i immediately removed my phone as he was replenishing my tea...... =pwith 60 dishes to choose from (it's an ala-carte buffet).. pretty hard for us to choose..mmm.. so being lazy.. we simply left the decision of ordering to the waitress.. which to our dismay... did not excite our tastebud that much.... 1 item that i truly enjoyed was the "shark bone soup w wolfberries.." somehow felt that it has some beauty essense in it.. and i will look better if i drink more.. waahhhh....
@ $45 each.. felt it was a little too exx....the view from the 60th floor was not "fully utilised" we din really feel we were @ the top of the building unless we stand up, tip toe and peer out of the window... mmmmmm.....
then again, i always njoy the view from a tall building... enjoyin the panaromic view.. seeing things from above... the lights of the buildings below... gives one this joy that you are above and in control... hahahhaha.....
Here's the places which i've been... to enjoy that "dining with a view "
37th Storey- 海天樓 (dinner w parents many years ago.. i like the food there !)
China Club : built atop the 52nd floor of Singapore's premium commercial tower(A new beginning for citiblue.. we had a nice breakfast there.. imagine the view of the mist in the early morning on the 52nd floor... definately an unforgettable breakfast experience)
Tower Club : 62nd – 64th penthouse floors of the award-winning Republic Plaza building (attended a product launch there.. was like "wow" when i walked out from the lift..eagerly looking out to enjoy the view.. yet not trying to look too "sua ku"... feel kinda like you are @ the top of the world.. feeling is awesome.. )
New Asia Bar @ 71st & 72nd storey Swissotel Singapore( i love their cocktail : Equinox Blue )
This is the revolving retaurant that looks down onto the twin towers (dinner with delise, bernard & rick during our 1st trip to KL. Breathtaking view of the KL. It takes 1h20 to makea round and you can enjoy different views while enjoying your dinner.. just make sure you can rem how to make your way back to your seat !! ).
e highest outdoor balcony, Sirocco~~a roof-top glowing skybar which sets on the 64th floor
