More shopping at the Platinum FAshion Mall.... you get wholesale price if you buy 3 items!! the price difference is really quite alot!!

dar's 3 shirts + 3 pants arrived at the hotel..and he's truly happy.. got new shirts to wear now!! keke.. here's our buys from yesterday PM and today c",)

~Highlight of this trip :: Unforgettable dining @ the Sirocco- Bangkok's second tallest building, and its highest outdoor balcony @ the 64th storey.. woohooo~

Preparing for the night.. and we are all ready for the experience of the lifetime....

@ the entrance of the Lebua State Tower.....

was drizzling and that kinda dampen my mood... cos it meant that they can't open up the dining area =( mmm.. so we decided to enjoy a glass of lychee daiquiri @ Distil (the bar a the 64th floor)... praying hard that the rain will stop...
while enjoying our drinks... these 2 guys got our eyes.. yesh... mark & jeff are filming there !! wow wow...

mmm.. the rain just refused to stop.. so the friendly ppl @ Sirroco offered us to enjoy our dinner located in the State Room which is at the 67th floor in the rotunda itself. I was totally blown away when i walked in! it was magnificent! and we were the oni one there.. (mmm... it's as if dar booked the whole place... ) and we also got to know that the State Room is only opened for exclusive corporate events and no individuals can dine in there unless due to bad weather, then the State room will be opened for dining... isn't it a blessing in disguise c",)

Our Appetisers :
*Alaskan king crab cake and fried calamari on mesclun greens served with a light mustard cream
*Lobster bisque flamed with VSOP Cognac, laced with lobster morsels

e next good news came... the rain stopped!! and we are gg to enjoy the rest of the dinner @ the Sirroco itself... oh... my prayers are answered!!!! look behind is the Dome which we just had our appetisers.. e view from e 64th floor (open air) is truly spectacular.. the stunning atmosphere.. with the wind in your hair.. where else can you enjoy such dining experience =)

Main Course

*Pan roasted Barberie duck breast on fig blue cheese polenta with baby spinach and sun-dried cherry sauce
*
*Pan roasted black sea bass and tiger prawn on kalamata and sun-dried tomato puree with white shrimp and yellow tomato salsa

Lastly is dessert.. mmmm.. savory macademia nut cheesecake simply
ends the night with a good note...

Final note :
"Sirocco's stunning atmosphere is a complement
to its excellent cuisine, not a replacement for it."

The Mediterranean cuisine there is something that you will not regret.. the chef really did a good job in blending in the different spices and creating dishes that excite our tastebuds.. truly remarkable... and not forgetting the jazz music that flows gently from the raised stage and covers the dining area like a soft breeze, simply an appropriately subtle counterpart to the clean, fresh flavors of the food.... i love the way they present the "happy Birthday" song.. jazzy, playful and cheeky rhythm..mmm.. i really wish to have them sing me a Birthday song on one of my birthdays.... mmmmm.........
