~ Bread Pudding~
in the mood for some baking ?
head off to get the ingredients..
and the "baker" is all ready !!

STEP 1~ get the ingredients

Step 2~slice the breads/crossiante...

Step 3 ~beat the eggs,milk and sugar

Step 4~soak the bread into the egg mixture

Step 5~ bake it for abt 50mins.. & Voila !!!
Just need to chill it for abt 2 days..heat it up..and it's ready to be served with a nice scoop of vanilla ice-cream..mmmmm.....

???wat happen?? mmm..well..being a typical s'porean..always so last min...& yet cannot lose out..i was desparately trying to "redeem" my dental $$..walked into the dentist clinic and wanted to pay upfront & "utilise" the dental treatment ; say next year??(or rather, so that i can get the receipt & claim..hee).. but "NO" they dun do it "on credit"..then the nurse asked.."if you wan to, we can do it today..cos the next appt will be late"...immediately, my face lit up..turned to my dar and said" baby, its your turn next!" you should have seen the horror on his face..he's afraid of the dentist..poor thing, the previous dentist scared him..and since then..the tot of gg to the dentist sent shivers down his spine...but for me..all that i tot of was to "redeem" my dental $$...opppsss...(all that decision to clean&polish was done in that 5 mins)
after abt half hour..i left the clinic..feeling very happy cos
1) i've managed to utilise all of my dental dollars
2) i've clean teeth now
3) a year's supply of toothpastes & toothbrushes (i literally jus told her to take, take , take...)

as for my dar...he left with sore gums....so afraid that he's not able to indulge in all the x'mas goodies...oppss...i'm so sorry dar =p but @ least you have cleaner teeth now, yah..? heee

here's my adorable nephew... baby Ian receiving his 1st x'mas pressie from us!! he's soo adorable..look @ him.. deciding which pressie to open.. in the end..he decided to "shove" the FOX box down..and trying his best to open the nicely-wrapped pressie..he was pleasantly surprised and loved the pressie lotsa... not forgetting the "choo-choo train ride" with uncle rick... ooooohhhh..... sooo "wen-xin".... he simply melts me.. and i have Rick bugging me thereafter.. i wanna have a bb boy too..... mmmmm.......

~The last house party for 2007~

indeed, 2007 has been a very fruitful year..a new life, a new home, a new job..

new friendships forged, old friendships strengthened..closer family ties..

soo many things, soo little time..

reflections, reflections...

happy that i've made time to have 6 house-parties(which is an avg of 1 every 2 months) oppss..it's tough job (having to make sure the house is spotless, the menu, the entertainment..etc etc)..but nothing beats the smiles on the guests' faces & lovely text msg on how much they have enjoyed themselves..its fun when diff groups of ppl come together; talk & discover new things about each other..something that we overlook amidst our daily routine..so this time round, decided to hold the last party for the very impt ppl in my life..
*colleagues who became friends..

*who appreciates & live life to the fullest

*who works & plays even harder

*who never fails to appear w goodies for me(hee..be it wine, chocs, curry puffs, brownie, fruits..they shouldn't have but they did..and i appreciate it lotsa..to me, it shows that they are part of the whole party & their gesture means soo much to me & my darling..and that everything else is worth it..)

Boy, look @ the smiles!! really enjoyed the ride..and mum even commented that it was ok..(whoa..initally she had reservation & did not wanna play...upon seein the little kids do it..she tot.."why not?" mmm..) Glad they had fun..while nacho & i were waiting patiently for them as they were goin "Whee...ahhh...awwww...."

back home, dearest sis decided to have something different for her bday..so here you have it...APPLE Strudel!! Last year, we celebrated your bday with 37 tables of people, this year, its a cosy affair with family + of cos dearest bro, Nacho..Happy Bday sis !!
