~Jollying Ard in Japan (Day 4) 22nd Mar 08~

peering out from windows of our hotel room.. i exclaimed "Baby, look..mt Fuji!!"yippee..the wind had blown the clouds away..unveiling the oh-so-magnificant Mt Fuji..unable to capture the full view from our room, we went to the stairway..

and this is what awaits us....

while our tour-mates were busy boarding the bus..we were busy snapping pics away..oppss..but you can't blame us for finding a good spot for these beautiful pics..heee

next up, we are gg to Tokyo..gonna be a long journey..but fret not, this BIG PAU is my fav and never fails to warm my stomach on those loong bus journey..ooiishiii!!

In Tokyo...shopping @ Harajuku & Shinjuku..and not forgetting BLUe LABEL !! ermmm..cos its only avail in Japan..i was prancing up and down the shop TRYING very hard to buy something...!!!

@ the AsakusaKannon Temple, to offer prayers for a happy & healthy baby...

its been a long day..so good night....on the most comfy bed!!!

~Jollying Ard in Japan (Day 3) 21st Mar 08~

Perfect weather to start the day !!!... We are going to Mt Fuji today!!

Lunchie before ascending Mt Fuji..

due to the bad weather =( can only ascend to the 1st level (instead of the 5th) mmm....not able to see the magnificent Mt Fuji...but never forgetting to have fun!! its snow-fight time !!

Since its still winter..we are entitled for this special tour to the ski centre....
mmm...not daring to try the steep slopes..we decided to head off to the kid's area..and try some 'gentle' skiing...wheeeee.....


finally..back to our hotel.. dressed in the Yukata and enjoy the traditional Jap Steamboat and the guys went to enjoy the traditional onsen bath...totally refreshing !!!

::Osaka-Nara-Kyoto-Nagoya::
visit to the Nara Deer Park where hundreds of deer roam freely...(beware of their droppings!!)

Next, a visit to the Todaiji Temple where we found one of the largest bronze Buddha.. and also saw the first cherry bloosom tree !!! beautiful !!

Continue the journey to Kyoto to the Nishijin Textile Centre for lunch & catch a glimpse of the making of traditional kimono.. all that weaving...an amazing artpiece...


Thereafter, to the famous Kyomizu Temple ( Pure Water Temple)...


and lastly, a ride on the bullet train to Nagoya....


for a good night rest !! Zzzzzz.....

~Jollying Ard in Japan (Day 1) 19th Mar 08~

Yippee...finally done with all the unpacking & laundry..!!
time to recollect all the wonderful & fun moment in the "Land of the Rising Sun"
Nice to have my whole family to send us off.. heee..machiam gg for a looonnnggg holiday..enjoyin a cuppa & mudpie @ Coffeeclub @ Terminal 3!!!

okok...here's the weight of our luggage..mmm..can afford another 15kg of shopping !!

about less than an hour before e clock strike 12...a lovely hello kitty (so kawaii..yah) cake to celebrate lilian's bday =)

after a 6hours flight..we finally arrived @ the Kansai airport!!!

We have the option to visit (1) Universal Studio or (2) Kobe Chinatown & Harbour;and Mosaic Town...mmm..after considering the bad weather that day & the fact that we are not into thrilling rides..decided on the latter (which turned out to be a little boring..should have gone to Universal Studio!!)Anyways..while waiting for our guide to get the tickets for the rest of the tourmates..we decided to alight from the bus & take pics (hee..a little proof that we have been to Universal Studio Osaka!!!wahhh)

Back on journey to Kobe Chinatown...really chilling..and nothing beats a warm bowl of noodles to warm the tummy before wandering around to sniff out some good buys...

even shopping in the supermarket is a delight...love their packaging !!

after picking the rest of the tourmates from Universal Studio..went to visit the Osaka Castle for a slice of Japan's history...

Enroute to Kyoto Night Market...a must-try..RAMEN!!

have to place your order via this vending machine..pay & pass the ticket to the waitress....and "slurp" yummy!!!

for dessert..the famous 'takopachi'...delicious!!! pretty chilling day..can't wait to get back to the hotel for a nice warm bath.....

Japan Here we come ~~~

in 2005, we were in HK disneyland....

and 3 years later...we are flying off to Japan Disneysea !!!

Yippee..this time..with our little one..together with Daniel & Lilian c",)

Lotsa fun we expect..see you in 8 days time !!

Held @ the Sheraton Towers, with Zoe & Ivy sharing their experience & a panel of docs sharing tips & guidance..its a seminar not to be missed by an anxious mum-to be.heee...
only thing is that Dar is busy and i've to attend the seminar alone..=(
but there's more to gain than lose..the free goodie bag..discounted deals..knowledge..laughter..all that for $15, definately worth it..!!(talking about a KS singaporean)

an immense pool of knowledge to tap on.. i find myself nodding away(in agreement with the speakers on the fear & anxiety facing mums-to-be)..and nodding away again (in agreement that a husband's role is extremely impt thru this tough & emotional journey) ..and nodding again (on how best we wanna provide for our little ones...) but what touches me most was when one of the speaker spoke " I wan everyone to place your palm on your tummy and say.. thank you for choosing me to be your mummy..." i did that.. and i teared..for once..there was a little connection..its a very calming kinda feeling..very close at heart..very nice...i count my blessings & say a little prayer..for a happy & healthy baby..we love you...

Our 3rd visit to Dr Woodworth...and this time..we saw the head and the limbs...

Doc : "see, your baby is waving at you"
yah..our little baby is waving at us..and the little legs look like they are waddling away..(just like swimming backstroke)
Doc : "your baby is growing well.. so dun worry"
Relief is the feeling...soo glad that the baby is growing well...

All prepared for our trip to Japan next week.... advise from the doc: No HotBath, No Sake....mmmm..seem like a short list not to follow...!!!

Bye Bye Heels...Hello Flats !
the only problem that i've now..is prob..back-ache..and I'm deprive of Sleep !!!
yupz...i will wake up at about 3-4am..and giddiness just hit me...very terrible feeling....breathless at times....hopefully all these will all go away when i reach my 2nd trimester..
For now..have to sleep with 2 pillows..

and say bye bye to my heels

and hello Flats!! ( luckily there are soo many pretty ballet pumps these days!!!)

Looks like i've to buy more flats..for now.. there are only occupying 1 shelf...not forgetting my other heels in another cupboard..mmm..more shopping to be done..hehehehe...

Bookworm ??
Sitting loong hours in front of the PC is no longer something that i enjoy.. my back starts to ache a little..and i get tired soo easily just staring at the PC... mmm..but i'm soo anxious and i crave for information but i can't stand sitting in front of the PC...so what to do ??
Off to the library...and back on my comfy "Ikoma" chair.. i spend my nights snuggling on this little comfy reading away.....mmmm..what was the last time i actually read ???
